A Clean Kitchen and a Clean Privacy Policy
Tiny Chef runs a tight, clean kitchen โ and tight, clean data practices. In a professional kitchen, ingredients are tracked and waste is minimised. We apply the same discipline to data: we track one thing (your high score), we waste none of your personal information, and we are transparent about every step. Your score lives in localStorage under the key chef_best. It is yours alone. We cannot see it. We cannot plate it up for any third party.
Server Logs and External Requests
Loading Tiny Chef sends one HTTP request to our server. The server logs your IP address, browser string, timestamp, and URL path. These logs run on a 30-day rolling deletion schedule. They serve no commercial purpose. Tiny Chef uses Nunito from the system font stack or, if not cached, from a Google Fonts CDN load. This is the only possible third-party request. No restaurant reviewer, analytics firm, or advertising broker has a table reserved in Tiny Chef's kitchen. The reservation list is empty.
Children, Rights, and Policy Updates
Tiny Chef is open to every aspiring cook of every age. We collect no personal data. Young players may play without parental consent because there is nothing to consent to. Future menu additions โ i.e., data additions โ will be described here in full before service begins.
Your Data Rights
Players in jurisdictions with formal privacy rights โ including GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, and similar legislation โ may request information about data we hold. Because we retain only brief, anonymised server-access logs, such requests will ordinarily confirm that we hold no personal data linked to any individual. We respond within legally required timeframes. To submit a request, use the official Tiny Chef website or repository contact channel.
No Sale, No Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data with third parties for commercial purposes. If we were ever legally compelled to disclose server-log data โ for example, by a valid court order โ we would comply with applicable law. We would not do so voluntarily for commercial reasons, because we have no commercial relationship with any data buyer or broker.
